WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
How it Works
-
How
it works & how
much it costs...
To tell the story of your day the number of photos generally
works out at around one print per guest. I promise to give you
at least this number of really great photos and always overshoot
to allow for blinks and sneezes and for when that memorable moment
occurs when your Gran takes on Olivia Newton John and struts
on that dance floor. I often have two cameras operating as an
added insurance to avoid any technical hicc-ups, for church and
Civil weddings (excluding Registry Offices), to make 100% sure
your photo's are to die for. I always like to meet for
a chat so we're not strangers. Your booking is not secure until
a £100 deposit is paid.
A Wedding...
Is a happy occasion, full of fun and spontaneity - so why not
have photographs which reflect that? I specialise in an award-winning
blend of Traditional & Reportage photography to capture the
true feel of your day.
Be Yourself...
Many good photographs are taken without you ever knowing it,
as I blend in and for the most part disappear, so you can be
yourselves. When required I can get people to do what's needed
happily and without any fuss. Every photograph is as individual
as you are and tells the story of what happened, who kissed who
and the fantastic time you had.
Guests...
Always think of me as one of your friends and guests, rather
than a service provider. I'll contribute to your day as well
as giving you excellent photographs. So if you'd like an award-winning
photographer who will help and sincerely understand the importance
of your day, and be the kind of person you enjoy having around
- read on and give me a call.
Photography
and Beyond...
If you have any concerns about anything, not only photography,
I'm happy to share my experience and contacts with you and do
whatever I can to have the day be everything you want it to be
and more. The happier, more relaxed and care free you are - the
better the pictures I get for you, and so it works all round
A combination of candid and more formal shots create the best style of images to capture your wedding day story. As your professional photographer for your wedding
day and with my extensive experience, you are sure to get the
very same quality of photographs that companies charge thousands
for. You will have a wonderful collection of familiar compositions
of the traditional snap shots combined with the more casual images. Not a Brides and Grooms are trained
models, but with my artistic skills, I can assure you, you will
both have pictures of your wedding day to be eternally proud
of.
Your wedding day will be an important day,
but most of all, a fun day. No wedding is a regimented programme.
There are potential delays (hairdresser, caterer, guests) that
may occur on your special day, so by having a photographer that
offers a personal service, who will reserve the whole day for
you so none of these will be affected by outcome of your pictures.
Many delays can compress the allocated time for the photograph
shoot after the wedding, but with my experience in wedding photography,
I will have already organised the time scale to get the very
best pictures during any allocated time. Although the booking may have been made without myself and yourselves meeting a later meeting would be preferable to get to know each other and discuss your requirements. Together, we will ensure all the aspects relating to
your wedding photography are catered for, so when your big day
arrives, that will be one less thing on your mind, knowing that
I have go it covered!
Covered
in my wedding photography service are home visits prior to
the wedding at no extra cost, for Church and Civil Ceremonies
(excluding Registry Office) these will be your very last pictures
before your marriage, just after your make-up artist and hairdresser
have done their bit and you are looking like the bride to die
for.
Photography sessions need more time than
that planned for the photography itself, to allow for
all those concerned to gather at the right spot and later to
move on to the next stage in the programme. Moving both
family and guests always takes longer than expected, whether
it is clearing a room or moving from a reception room to the
photographic location. I recall at one wedding, with challenging
weather, where the bride particularly wanted to be photographed
in the garden. Over half an hour was lost, just getting
those concerned to gather in the garden and then return indoors
between showers.
Together
we will create a memorable and distinctive treasure trove
of your magical day sealed in time for all your grandchildren
to see in years to come
